On Going Support

Peer Coaching is a great tool for helping people move through their program. Your peer coach is someone just like you who has successfully completed the program and would like to use their experience to help others. We want you to be successful in overcoming your condition and we will do whatever we can to help you along including answering questions about homework, help with goal setting, a challenge or if you just need an encouraging pep talk and some reassurance, we’re here for you! They do not provide assessments, diagnosis, treatment or counseling for any mental conditions, symptoms or dysfunctions. Coaching is not meant to take the place of counseling or any other mental health services or medical treatment.

Don’t let your work schedule, location or transportation stand in your way.
CONNECT BY PHONE... WE KNOW HOW!
  • Convenience: You don't have to leave the comfort of your home or office. You can arrange a telephone appointment for during the day or evening.

  • Accessibility: Your counsellor/therapist is available to help you even if you live in an area without any mental health practitioners available to you.

  • Anonymity: Some people find that they can trust much more quickly using phone counselling/coaching. It makes them feel comfortable. This means, in the right situation, it is possible to accomplish more in a shorter time period with phone counselling/coaching than in traditional face to face approaches.

Phones counselling/therapy can serve provide the opportunity for reflection, self-exploration, and insight.

People from other communities are now able to enjoy the full benefit and experience of our team through phone access.

Many people have trouble accessing in-office counselling/therapy due to restraints of time, geography or transportation.

Phone counselling/therapy might be the ideal solution for you, if you are with limited to office access due to age, illness or anxiety.

For some people, phone counselling/therapy provided professional support with a higher sense of anonymity. It allows one to experience higher levels of comfort and safety much sooner than face-to-face counselling/therapy.

Phone counselling/therapy allows help to come to YOU!!

Phone counselling/therapy has limitations that face-to-face counselling/therapy has readily available through out the process. Tone and body language is an important part of communication. A client may say they are fine when in actual fact they are anxious or sad. Tone and body language would traditionally fill in the blanks for the counsellor/therapist.

It is important that with phone counselling/therapy, the client discloses as much as possible about their thoughts and their feelings.

Phone counselling/therapy may be ideal more short-term counselling/therapy. Phone counselling/therapy is clearly more content oriented and can be very beneficial for those who now may feel more comfortable with a direct approach when not face to face.
